Family Time!!!!

Addelyn is very loved, that is for sure! Since the first day she was born, our family and friends have been there to show this little one how much they love her. In the past two months, she has had MANY visitors.....including those proud grandparents who can't get enough of her! :) She also has taken one trip to Steamboat Rock and will be taking one to Perry in a few weeks. I figured that pictures can speak louder than words so here are some great family pics below!

Grandma Cindy loves to hold Addelyn (in fact, hates to have to put her down!)

Here are the four generations.....Great Grandma Lois Stewart, Grandma Cindy Stewart, Mom Kris Hoskinson, Baby Addelyn Hoskinson

A few weeks ago, Addelyn and I made a trip to Steamboat Rock. We got to see our cousins, Jen and Autumn Meester (Autumn was born 7/7/07). Just wait, Addelyn will catch up to her one of these days!

Autumn and Addelyn hanging out with Great Grandpa Merle and Great Grandma Mick Kramer!

The proud Kramer Grandpas.....Marvin and Randy

Grandpa Marvin and Grandma Lora love to hold Addelyn, especially after bath time!

Aunt Jill has come to visit a lot since Addelyn has been born and LOVES to spoil Addelyn!

Our family...

Grandma Hoskinson tried to smooth down that wild hair when she came to visit (I don't think she had any luck!)

Proud Grandpa Dar- he loves to change Addelyn's diapers! (just ask him...)

Uncle Matt came to visit and introduced us to his girlfriend, Nicole and her son Ty. Addelyn is going to have fun when she can run around and play with Ty (he is a ball of energy)!

At Anita (Kramer) Lavelle's shower in Steamboat Rock...with all of the Kramer side gals. A few babies and a few on the way!

2 months old already!

Check out those band aids on each leg....proof she made it through her shots! :)

Addelyn had her two month doctor appointment yesterday. She had a great checkup and is doing well. She was in the 50th percentile for weight, length, and her head. She weighed 10 lbs., 7 oz. and was 22 1/4 inches long. She is a growing girl!

Oh and don't forget what comes along with a two month appointment- SHOTS! Her daddy held her arms while the nurses stabbed those needles into her little legs.....ahhh! I sat in the corner and watched and even got a little teary eyed. It was hard to see her in pain! She let us know that she didn't like it, that is for sure. But overall, she did well and even got some cute little band aids!

What do we do all day?

Some people may wonder, what do you do all day when you are home with a baby? Well, I have to say my days have really been filled.........filled with feeding Addelyn, playing (she is very intrigued by her Baby Einstein mat these days), singing (yep, the only time you will hear me sing- when she is the only one listening!), reading, naps (my favorite part of the day if I get one too!), and just trying to make the most of this quality time at home together.

Catching smiles!

I wrote yesterday about trying to catch some of Addelyn's smiles on camera. It is tougher than you'd think. Everytime I got the camera out and started to take a picture, she would stop smiling and stare the camera down! :) I did get a few though....enjoy! I'm certain there will be more as she gets older.

Snowy days at home with Addelyn

I've been very fortunate to be able to take maternity leave to be home with Addelyn. I can honestly say I have really been enjoying it. I love my job and look forward to going back but this time with Addelyn has been so worth it. It has been a perfect winter to be at home with all of the snow and cold weather. Our days seem to go by quickly though and today I realized how much Addelyn has changed and grown since we brought her home from the hospital. We have great times during the day where we sit together and look at each other, smile, and talk (well, I do the talking and she stares at me!). She is smiling more every day and it is so fun. She has lots of smiles for Mark when he comes in the door. It is so sweet to watch the two of them together. We have yet to get a good picture of her smile though. I will work on it!

Beginner Blogger

Starting this blog was a wonderful idea passed onto me by friends. After sending many updates and emails and pictures since Addelyn was born in December, Mark and I decided it would be much easier to update people on our lives (and of course share pics of our little babe) by having a blog.

I will warn you, I am not real sure about this whole blogging deal yet. But hopefully it will be worth it and we will learn together along the way!

So here we go.............happy reading! :)
